Classic organizational training these days…
Is it the two days in a conference room just outside one of the towns mainly known for industry?
Or three days online?
Or the week flown in from all over to somewhere really nice with the majority of daytime hours spent in a meeting room with no windows?
My friends have great ideas for how to get to where they wish to go. In life on the broader scale, you know. Biking is one of them, yes, but also in the sense of learning and creating new stuff. For example, the organizations humanity needs to have a future on this gorgeous planet.
Some of the organizations that my friends have chosen to invest their energy in magically support them in their ideas!
Some do not.
Out of fear that they will leave? That they will not be able to do their jobs in the same way? That it’ll cost something too expensive if they stop (re)producing?
*effortless gracious segway*
What if future corporate training will be practice in how you collaborate with people ‘outside’ ‘your’ organization?
How might organizations of the future cross silo boundaries and benefit from edge effects between private businesses, public organizations, civil society and grassroots initiatives of activists and volunteers, and everyone who is not in an organization?
What if the organization of the future is a collaboration with nature?
“Nature did not get there with competition, it got there by networking.”
