ON LEARNING HOW TO LEARN

Realizing ideas takes practice, trying and readjusting.
In that process, we are trying to learn how to realize whatever exactly this idea has the potential to organically become.
You might think of it as a scientist approach to entrepreneurship. You might think of it as being an artist. Maybe you'd rather think of it as grabbing the only three things in your refrigerator and wondering: "What dish can this become and will it be good?"
Are you open to this turning out to not be a relevant idea?
Notice that a good idea may turn out to not be a relevant idea. How do you minimize the chance of spending too much energy on an idea that is not relevant?
It also just might be a bad idea. How do you avoid spiralling into an identity crisis because you threw energy into a bad idea?
From the process with realizing my own ideas and helping you lovely people realize yours, I’ve experienced that - in order to get anywhere - we need to relearn how to learn.
Too often, we get stuck before we dare to say our idea out loud to anyone, or dare to put the metaphorical or actual paintbrush on the blank piece of paper.
We’ve forgotten how to allow ourselves to not know yet.
I’ll just let that sink in.
