Even glimpses of presence are beautiful.
What would you notice if you became present right now?
It is possible to practice - as in continually work on - presence in moments and in relations.
It is possible to teach presence through reflective listening: Helping people notice what they themselves say and do.
Sometimes I think presence is what we get if we unbox ourselves and others over time. I am sure that we cannot - and possibly should not - reach complete unboxing. However, within the current human context, I see many countering forces against allowing ourselves and others to step out of one of these imaginary-but-consequentially-real boxes.
Sitting down to feel the world is hard work.
But even glimpses of presence are beautiful.
We can start by taking a breath both of us?
Alright, I'll go first.
